Medical assistant’s scope of practice involves arranging patient’s data, guiding them about how they are going to be treated, preparing them for various medical tests. They are also responsible for conducting clinical tests, making entries in patient’s histories, taking blood samples for further examinations, taking blood pressure etc. sometimes they are required to make appointments, answer calls, schedule patients and similar other jobs. In some major cases they work side by side of the physician as junior doctor. They help them when they are examining patients or some other medical procedure. They learn these entire things back in the medical assistant school.
